Jess: Hey everyone thank you for joining
Andrew: Wait wait, I wasn’t ready
Jess: Hey everyone thanks for joining, we’re going to do an interview with Andrew today to let you know who Andrew is as a person & EP
Jess: So Andrew, how long have you been an EP for?
Andrew: Since 2019 June/July, I started working in 2020 Full time as a rehab consultant, but also doing some EP clinical work. Mainly Workcover & CTP a lot of experience in that side, however not as much with everything else.
Jess: What’s your favourite thing about being an EP?
Andrew: My Favourite thing would have to be the positive impact we have on people’s lives, they come in generally with an injury or something affecting them, then seeing overtime the positive changes made to their lives, in general, being able to help with that is very rewarding.
Jess: What have you enjoyed about being at Fit Clinic so far?
Andrew: A bit of everything, the team environment has been great, everyone is fun & we all get along. The same with the members, every day we have the groups & everyone has a laugh & a bit of banter. So it’s always good to enjoy coming to work & get that side of things as well. But also I get to knuckle down & challenge myself as well.
Jess: I know we do have quite a diverse range here
Andrew: Its a big range which also helps out, it doesn’t get boring & changes it up & different things to see.
Jess: What do you do when you’re not at work?
Andrew: Well, usually the gym,
Jess: Gym Tan Laundry?
Andrew: You’ve got to train, you’ve got to train. That’s my biggest hobby at the moment. I like sport so I used to be big on playing soccer but not so much anymore since I started uni that stopped a bit. I’d like to get back into it, but now the gym has taken over. That takes up most of my spare time. But I also like to enjoy occasionally going to the movies & going out to eat. Just the general stuff now, it’s a bit hard at the moment with covid.
Jess: What is the one thing that might surprise someone about you?
Andrew: I guess I’m a bit of a ‘weirdo’, I like to do different things like riding a unicycle, building a Rubix cube.
Jess: How often have you ridden a unicycle?
Andrew: I used to own one, I probably haven’t ridden one in about two years, because I sold it
Jess: I’ve definitely got to see that, maybe we should hire one to see Andrew riding a unicycle
Andrew: Yeah, Aaron said to bring one in but I don’t have one anymore. I think we need to get one & see if I can still ride it I don’t know if I can ride it anymore but I can give it a go, it’ll be fun
Andrew: More recently, I’m trying to learn to do a backflip or a round-off leading to a backflip. So building on that, a few failed attempts here and there but that’s going to come along with it, always do different things which not many people try.
Jess: Cool! Well, it’s great to have you here & I’m sure if you come into the clinic or call up or on social media you will be able to see Andrew in full action. Thanks for watching!
Andrew: Thank you.
